I graduated from Macon State College with a bachelor’s degree in Education.  I am certified in Regular and Special Education. I am currently seeking my Master’s Degree in Mathematics.  My next goal is to obtain my Specialist degree in Leadership.

Professional Experience:

I taught my first year in Fort Valley at Hunt Elementary School.   I have taught at Crawford County Elementary School since leaving Hunt since 2006. I have taught in both the regular and special education setting. Last year I was voted Teacher of the Year for Crawford County Elementary School. This is the start of my 9th year teaching. Currently I am serving as the Resource Department Lead Teacher.

I grew up in Macon, Georgia, with two loving parents and an older brother. My father was a principal and my mother a teacher.  My parents inspired me to go into the field of education. I attended Central High School and graduated in 2001.  I moved to Roberta with my husband a native of Roberta, Dan Hudson.  We opened Hudson’s BBQ here in Roberta and are in the process of opening a second location in Byron.  We have two precious girls who hold my heart. Working with my collegues I hope to continue to make CCES a place I am proud to call my home.
